I know exactly what you mean! It is annoying, too because it takes so little if everybody did their part, but when one person has to pick it up, it’s an unending chore. I have enjoyed your blog over the past few months and I want to share an honor that I received with you. A Blog of the Year 2012 Award. http://wp.me/2jC53 What are you going to do with your blog in 84 days?

I’ve thought for a very long time that people no longer care much about the environment, 400…that it’s something for someone else to worry about. The manner in which egos and greed have expanded in the last 25 yrs or so is so counterproductive to the anti-litter campaign, which I feel has been around forever, hasn’t it? No matter which neighborhood one would be in here in Chicago, no matter how rich or poor the inhabitants may be, there is litter everywhere, with even small children deliberately tossing not only candy wrappers, but the plastic bag that carried them, to the ground–which demonstrates that the parents do this also, and were never taught by their parents, who probably littered also…and it goes on and on, causing frustration for those such as you and me!
