Tailgating…… such a dangerous choice, and yet SO many, SO VERY MANY people do it! What are they thinking????? Today I was on my way home from a meeting and 13, yes 13 people tailgated me during the 90 minute trip home. I was going the speed limit! I was going OVER the speed limit!
There are so many unnecessary deaths each year caused by poor driving and I am always in awe of how many seemingly incompetent (or just highly careless) drivers are on the road. I wish I had answers to the question, “How do we better protect our roads???” Harder driving tests? Tougher fines when caught? More cameras?
I do not know the answer, but what I do know is that I care, I care about my family and friends and I want them to be okay, which means I do not want some idiot tailgater riding up the @ss of their vehicle. It is as dangerous as texting while driving. When a person tailgates they do not have the proper space to react in an emergency. It is not safe!!!
When will people learn?????
