165 Days ’til 40: Pretty Sign of Autumn

09 Sep

Today while we were out we saw – pomegranates, one of my favorite signs that we are moving from summer into autumn.

Today, 165 days ’til 40, I am thankful for the changing seasons – something we can always rely on no matter how chaotic daily life may feel.

Where I am, it’s apples, not pomegranates, that are the first sign of autumn! I love the picture and the idea that many different sights can indicate the beginning of the red and golden season. It’s my favorite time of year.

🙂 We have some nice apples around here too…. but now that I think about it, I think most are probably imported……

I love Autumn – especially when it starts to rain! I did not drool on the pomegranates, but probably could have!

Autumn is my favorite…I love how the light changes and becomes softer. Actually saw trees beginning to color on my bus ride this afternoon (down Lake Shore Drive in Chicago)!

Where do pomegranates grow? I had no idea we had any in the U.S.
I agree with loving the changing seasons. Just wrote a post about inspirations from the changing woods in my back yard.

And just like summer becomes autumn, so too with absolute certainty, do our lives go through seasons as well. May the autumn of your life, produce just the right fruit for you and yours. Hugs from here.
