Yes, I know, this is another one of those silly topics – but sometimes silly is okay. Life can’t always be about the serious. Today I took a shower with chocolate soap. Yes, I am serious – chocolate soap. Does this make you wonder????
What exactly IS chocolate soap? No, no NO it is not some inappropriate shower toy meant for two. It is actually chocolate SOAP – that you wash yourself with. Nothing kinky about it – it just IS. When I first saw chocolate soap I was not a believer. I wondered who on earth wanted to make soap in a chocolate scent…. ridiculous. But, not so ridiculous that I did not pick it up and smell it. It DID smell like chocolate, in a sort of soapy way – not a bad soapy way, a good soapy way. Next thing I knew, I was propelled towards the check-out counter with my bar of chocolate soap, imported from France. And, today I used that soap……. it did smell like a light scent of chocolate as I showered……. and, you know what????
I liked it.

Cacao nibs are also rather mind-blowing. You eat them..but they feel so clean and wonderful compared to a Hershey bar. Milk chocolate has so much sugar and dairy in it..but the real cacao..that stuff is amazing!

kinda sounds like a katy perry remix… 😉 I have tried chocolate lotion and went around smelling like a hint of chocolate kisses.. it was fun. I have a similar feeling about lavender candies..its just the other way around.. Choward’s Violet are delicious if you have never tried

Heh, I actually know how you feel, I had a similar experience with a couple of strangely nice scented/laced/infused soaps about a year and some ago. Was in Thailand with the family and there was a single shop that was just an insane amount and variety of soap types and while I’m hardly picky about such things, I’ll admit there was some intriguing stuff in there and some of it was nice (like the choco) and some was good (like the skin-friendly natural/herbal/etc).

I was always very tempted by the idea of getting chocolate soap, but thing is I am so worried that part way through my shower, I will take a bite out of the soap bar thinking it is truly a chocolate bar! It’s wrong…it’s wrong!!! Hahaha!

I have been using chocolate body scrub for years … just love it. And my bathroom smells gorgeous from chocolate for the full day. It’s so lush .. never tried soap.

I had a chocolate bath too, I think it’s from London or one of the countries around that area. It’s like pouring melting chocolate all over my body! I know this is stupid but I’m more curious than cats, if not better. I tasted it hahaha! Well it tastes like normal body gel/foam. But smells and looks like choc!!!!!

I thought it was just me, but I use chocolate shower cream and let me tell you, a wanna take a bite at myself afterwards, that’s how sweet I smell and feel 😀

Have you ever tried The Body Shop, they really have chocolate soap from around Christmas time. I used to work there, so I know, and boy my bathroom had no space for anything more I could buy or grab from the return bin 😀
