I’ve been a principal for a long time (okay, not that long, six years – but was a principal the entire time I wrote my last blog!) I disappeared off the earth with a new move/ job last summer that then turned into mono. So, it took quite some time for me to re-emerge….. slowly!

Me too! What a creative way to get the students excited about the year. When I was a kid, (here we go), our first day started with our Principal who claimed he was a “Prince” and he would be our “Pal.” Ugh! this is much better. Thanks for sharing. Nikki
