When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.  I have several stands around here. ~ James Brady

When life gives you lemons, squirt someone in the eye. ~ Cathy Guisewite

When asked if my cup is half-full or half-empty my only response is that I am thankful I have a cup. ~ Sam Lefkowitz

One day, someone showed me a glass of water that was half full.  And he said, Is it half full or half empyt?  So I drank the water.  No more problem. ~ Alexander Jodorowsky

Is your cup half empty or half full?  Are you making lemonade out of the lemons that life hands to you?  I believe so much of life is about the attitude we choose to walk around with on a daily basis.  I can choose to view a situation as positive or negative.  I can choose whether to let a mistake get me down or whether to view my mistakes as new opportunities to challenge my own growth and development.  We have a great deal of control over our moods – the way we choose to perceive the world around us can have a large impact on the happiness we experience in life.

Today, 28 days ’til 40, my glass is half full with lemonade – what about yours???

I used to a cup half empty person. My pessimism often left me in horrible moods which would effect my surroundings. I have learned to change my attitude around and look at the world with a cup half full. Im glad to hear you are as well.

My cup is always overflowing, so I like to share with others. Life hasn’t given me any lemons, but rather limes. I use them in my margaritas. Doesn’t get better than that!

As a fellow once said, “The world does not shape us, we shape the world.”
Personally when life gives me lemons I shoot tequila… 😉

Just this morning, I had to deal with a ‘half-empty’ type, which for some reason, pushes a ‘button’ with me, 400! After I left her, I was disturbed because, after defying death once again this past year, I became an even more ‘full-fledged, ‘half-full’–and allow me tofill it to the brim, please?’ person who works at enjoying every minute of Life! It leaves me to wonder…just how deeply people with a skewed attitude look into a mirror…and what do they truly see? Or, are they just really afraid to see?

That is a really good question and I have asked myself similar things. Are they just unwilling to let go of anger and negativity??? Maybe they get something out of being negative and it is the only way they think they will be given attention? So very sad, isn’t it???

It is, and I begin to think they ‘enjoy’ their negativity…and keep at it just to irritate others, not realizing how much they are harming themselves!
