Once again, one of my feline family members has volunteered to be my visual aid.  She is demonstrating what I believe is the absolute best way for me to spend my weekend.

We have all had our moments – those moments of depression and despair, the blahs and the blues.  The World Health Organization estimates that 121 million people worldwide have depression.  Clearly, you are not alone.  Yet, when in the midst of depression it is easy to feel as though you are alone – maybe not alone in your depression, but alone in the world.

Have you ever wanted to hibernate?  Check out of the world, nor permanently, but for a short period of time.  During this time no one would be allowed to hound you or require anything of you.  If you are hibernating, you are not available when the demands of the world are catapulted in your direction.
