IMG_6068

I LOVE it when my daughters teach me important lessons or remind me of lessons I have previously learned, but somehow “forgotten” as I go about my daily routine.  The photos I have included in this blog are visual representations of the lesson my older daughter reminded me of this week: Chores should be fun!   Read the rest of this entry »

197 Days ’til 40: Wishing for a Snow Day

I better be perfectly honest.  The students are not yet back at school.  The administrators have been on campus for one week, the new teachers for one day short of one week, and the returning teachers for one day. The students arrive on Monday…….  the school is almost set up – ALMOST – and there is a host of paperwork that must be completed and sent out sometime in the next three days.  The school year is about to begin. 224 Days ’til 40: A Day Off

I am certain tomorrow WILL be a better day.

Until then~

366 Days ’til 40: Birthday Blues or Birthday Bliss???

I always find it fascinating to see the way in which people relate to their birthdays.  Some individuals want lavish parties and bask in the glow created by buckets of attention heaped upon them.  Others are horrified when personal attention comes their way and they would rather allow their birthdays to pass quietly.  Some Read the rest of this entry »
